Recently, at an international book event I discovered this excellent book light from a little company called Book Owl. The lights are great for reading on the go or any time.

Me atop sandbags in Winnipeg, spring, 1997, when the Red Red River flooded parts of
Minnesota, North Dakota and Southern Manitoba.

March 1998, atop a Russian-built Iraqi tank -- the "tank graveyard" -- in Ali Al Salem,
Kuwait City, where coalition forces parked Iraqi military vehicles destroyed during the
1991 Gulf War. (I'm not sure if the tank is a T-72, T-62 or a T-54.)
